Peace, Paint and Pencil 13-17 April 2019 -Sorry-No further places available..

Improve your drawing and painting in peaceful company.

Do you need some time out in the gentle quiet of Tuscany to develop your drawing and painting skills? We have created this short break on the run up to Easter for busy people who need some peace and calm to bring out the best in their creativity. We are delighted to have Sue Cooper as our teacher for this retreat. She has a wealth of experience in teaching painting and drawing to all ages and abilities and to all levels -from basic recreational classes to graduate level and beyond. She even teaches art teachers! She is looking forward to bringing out the best in you- whatever your standard.

Many people find the practice of art very calming in itself and to facilitate this peace we are joined by Jill Crehan who will lead the optional daily mindfulness sessions to help you gear down from a hectic working life to a calmer state if you like, and there are plenty of opportunities and spaces for own practice mindfulness and yoga in our villa.

I will be your host and look forward to welcoming you into our home.I will be treating you to delicious meals showcasing the amazing fresh local produce of this corner of Italy and generally looking after you so you can relax and focus on your art.

Non-Painting Partners

Partners who wish to attend the retreat but not join in the painting and drawing sessions are very welcome and can enjoy a generous discount of £60.I will be happy to help them arrange alternative activities( not included in the holiday), and they will be very welcome to use the same transport as the painters for trips to Lucca. Please pay the deposit as normal and the difference will be reflected in your balance
